Try reading “The Guardian”, “Pro-Publica”, “Al-Jazeera”, “Deutch Wire”, “The Jacobin”, " The BBC", to name a few. But be careful, you might learn something out of your comfort zone.
In the 1920s the Klan was at its peak of popularity. It controlled the Indiana legislature for several years and was strong in many northern states. No telling what was in the Farmer’s Almanac. My folks had a cartoon history coffee table book that I loved when I was a kid. In the 1920s section there were quite a few anti Klan cartoons.
So cute that anyone would think, even as a joke, that 1923 was less racist than today. Not as a big difference as we’d like to think, but no golden age.

Where does she spend her media time? SOME of us can find more balanced coverage… which does mean that some of the RW crαp does leak through.

The Alt-Reich has a calendar, Jan. Just refer to it to see which day media/cartoonists/columnists go after Hunter, WOKE, etc.

She should read Margaret Atwood’s book “The Testaments”, it’s a really great story.

Hundred year old canning instructions are often left as for entertainment purposes. The article ‘Twenty uses for this years rendered Lard’? Timeless.

1923, isn’t that about halfway to where the right-wing populists want to take us?:
