The sudden appearance of an extended paw, claws out. The wriggling ‘thing’ was calling to bring the Hunter instinct to the fore.

Our cat loves human feet. When she attacks she keeps her claws in and pretends to bite. She likes to lie on the floor next to a foot and rest a paw on it.
Retract the claws by gently squeezing the paw pads. Cute pic of Ric playing :)))
