The GOP has done a great job of investigating people, rather than investigating acts. It started with Clinton; four years of investigation, bouncing from one nothing burger to the next, until they happened on Monica (which does not absolve Clinton, but note that once they GOP found something, it stopped investigating; but for Monica, they would likely still be investigating him today. Wait! The used Hillary instead! Another nothing burger!)
