Most people don’t realize it, but the measurements of things in Ikea (including the tools) are in Metric sizes (and converted to our measurements). Eventually, the US will be on the metric system whether we like it or not.

Well, we all have our areas of specialization.
That said, all jokes aside, I’ve never had a problem following the instructions for Ikea or any other brand of put-it-together-yourself furniture.
