Sounds like my daughter and her comfort dogs. When she eats breakfast on the sofa, they come running, wait patiently while she eats and then jump up when she’s done to lick the crumbs off her plate. A little peanut butter smeared on the plate makes it very exciting. And the human giggles all the way through.
