I taught history for a few years, and they way it was presented in textbooks, was kind of boring. I tried to make it less so, but wished that the writers could have presented history as the fascinating series of events that it is.
If you don’t know where you’ve been or why or how you got there, you won’t know why your got to where you are now and will have no idea where you can go in the future.
