Tucker was getting his material off the Dark Web. Almost verbatim at times. We’re talking 4chan, where conspiracy theorists leave their manifestos. It was trackable for people who do that sort of thing. The material on these websites would be echoed the following day on Tucker’s show. Absolute slow poisoning of the American people.
To me this was unusual. Two of the most recognizable personalities in cable news let go on the same day. It’s like CNN and FOX were playing cards. CNN throws out Lemon. FOX trumps Lemon with Carlson. Those wagers must of been extremely high for both networks.
Plato makes an interesting point. The comparative difference between Carlson and Lemon and the recent sensational revelations about Fox lies is the easy answer. But there is also the reflexive what-aboutism of the right that stands out.
Fox dumped Carlson because he was a much greater financial liability (from a legal perspective) than an asset. Money matters.
I never understood Mr. Lemon’s appeal. I watched him in his first days with the network, and his dumb comments and back-and-forths with other commentators made me wince. Watching him try to sneak his glasses on when off-camera and sneak them off when the camera came back (which he was never successful with) made me wonder why they made him so prominent. No tears for his loss.
Mr. C. will start his own podcast and take his viewers with him. And now he can use the tried-and-true “they done me wrong” approach that works so well for the Dotard.
it’s interesting how someone I could draw as well as Ramirez can you do a decent cartoon or caricature, these figures look nothing like the people you’re supposed to portray
Hahah, perfect ‘toon Mike. Won’t miss Tucker as he was getting increasingly erratic plus we were total opposite regarding Ukraine. Heh, look at all the left wingers circling the wagons around Lemon.
According to Forbes, last month…CNN had its lowest-rated week in more than seven years last week, as the network’s ratings struggles continue. For the week ending March 12, CNN had an average weekday audience of 409,000 viewers, the lowest total day (6 a.m. to 6 a.m. ET) ratings performance since the week of July 6, 2015. Fox News Channel won the week with 1.359 million viewers, followed by MSNBC (673,000 viewers). I think Fox News will survive.

Both are very good examples of addition by subtraction

Interesting how the left leaning cartoonists look to only come up with Tucker attacks while those that lean right reflect on both events of the day.

Tucker will turn a lemon into lemonade. Lemon is just a lemon.

Lemon was quick to protest.. Tucker is obviously consulting his lawyers on how to respond. I expect him to sue Fox for some breach of contract.

Couldn’t happen to two more deserving guys. Reports this morning say they both hired the same lawyer.

I wonder how long it will take for the majority to realize it was all a publicity stunt and a shell game.
