So as a consumer (or customer, if you prefer), I have the right to choose what products I will buy, the merchants I will buy them from, and how much I’m willing to pay for any given product, right? That’s what a Free Market means, right? I feel about MyPillow much the same way I feel about certain coffee shop chains and wine experts. Make it expensive, make it trendy, and brand-snobs will buy it and condemn their less savvy neighbors for their lack of discrimination and taste. Luckily for me, I’m too old to care much about being considered indiscriminate and tasteless. It annoys people, but that’s just a bonus. 8>)
