The problem isn’t this guy. He is just a symptom of what the GOP and right wing fascists evangelical extremists supporting the GOP have been ding since the 1980’s to destroy democracy in the country. That is the problem. Trump is just a distraction.

And just like PFAS it seems to never go away !

Nobody, including Trump, is claiming that Trump is innocent. A plea or even verdict of “not guilty” does not mean that the person is innocent.

The outrage is that Trump doesn’t deserve to be held accountable for the crimes that evidence indicates he has committed.

This outrage is based entirely on gut (or male genitalia) and has no basis in fact; the brain is not part of this decision making.

It’s not that “nothing sticks.” A number of things have stuck. It’s more that his base doesn’t care what’s stuck to him! They will “explain,” “excuse,” “overlook,” or ignore any outrage, crime, or malfeasance rather than admit that maybe, just maybe, they got conned.

Reagan was more nonstick than this gross, sticky thing.

Can’t even cheat on your taxes anymore!
