My German Shorthaired Pointer can go 45 mph, checked it on my speedometer on my Razor. She outruns the deer in my area, even nips at their legs while running.
Even the great Seabisquit, early on his career, was very slow breaking feom the gate. Andy obviously keeps picking horses who haven’t broken this habit.
It actually is the best gambling aspect for everyone. Somebody has to win and the house(track) doesn’t care who wins as their profits are the same for every horse. Black Jack/ roulette, everyone at the table can lose. Poker-probability and outcome, Dogs just run into each other, Sports(football) has a spread, they can technically tie and everyone loses. Auto racing- you can not even bet on. Lottery- biggest joke- the grand prize is awesome, but how many people win that. All the other prizes are no where near the correct pay offs. There are 26 powerball numbers but if you hit that one number on a 2 dollar bet you should get back $54.00. The payout is actually $2.00. This is why horseracing is the sports of kings.

Andy has an eye for speed. Or, in his case, the lack of it.

When Andy wins – he wins big. When he loses , it’s someone’s else dough.
