    My own private library is up to nearly 500 books

    I would be willing to loan them out, but I might need a cell of my own for people who damage or don’t return books

    The library where I work stopped charging late fees in 2020. Some people think that means it’s okay to just keep the books. Imagine their surprise when they get a bill in the mail for the cost of the overdue title . . .
