Contrariwise, we here in SW VA had to get used to little or no snow in the winters anymore. Snow tires are a thing of the past. We’ve had three snows, barely two, three inches, lasting two days or so.
Make fun all you want California is a large state with different climates. The blizzard up in North East part of the state is no joke. However most there are prepared. But here in the central coast I have not seen hwys like the 154 San Marcos pass actually shut down or requiring chains. Nor the snow levels as low as they have been since I moved here from North Cal in 85. Snow in LA proper I don’t think I have seen that. LA drivers are bad as it is. Add snow to the mix disaster.
When I sent this Minnesotan-helping-snow-bound-Californians cartoon to Gabe, a former shipmate of mine (and registered Minnesotan). He informed me that after y-e-a-r-s of going to Florida to ride out the worst of the winters, he was convinced to try Sun City, Arizona for this year. The political stupidity of Florida’s Gooberner was a factor in that decision . . .
His report?
" . . .Huh, cannot imagine why I came to mind!So disappointed in Arizona. God forsaken country. We should donate it to the Palestinians. Going home a week early. Need to see water, even if it’s frozen! . . ."
Minnesota’s the land of 10,000 lakes – Arizona has Kari Lake – one too many, IMHO.

And here in Southern New England, we had 3 inches of snow.
It rained, got buckets of that.
The ground barely froze. Yup. Looks like the world is going nuts.
Maybe Mother Nature is gonna get rid of us varmints?

10’ high drifts and people running out of food and medicine. I guess you can make fun of anyone if you dislike them enough.

Sure, give away all your winter gear and move to SoCal…. why not? I did my time in N Michigan. Can you say “Lake Effect”?

Really. We moved over 1000 miles to Vancouver Island and the SF Bay Area has had more snow this year. NTTAWWT

As far as the wine goes, in addition to the hook up mentioned, add a little sodium chloride. Then it would be a salt and battery.
