At least you got things started and only have to do the “rest” of it.

I never lie awake over household chores that have to be done. Never did either. It will get done eventually and it’s not like it’s ever finished.

Those kids can be taught to do most of those chores

I’ve never understood this drive to be perfectly spotless. Clean enough to keep the vermin away has always been good enough.

I’ve discovered that those tasks are there in the morning whether or not I sleep well. I’m more likely to deal with them if well rested.

Ya know, teaching those kids to do these chores would be good for at least a year’s worth of strips. . .

I don’t believe I’ve ever seen Kate without her glasses before.
