The republiguns don’t want to actually do anything about the border. They would lose an accusatory talking point.

A Missouri Rep introduced a bill that would ban unsupervised 5 year olds from carrying assault weapons unsupervised in public places. The GOP majority voted it down…I wish I was joking.

The conservatives are “gun crazy” because they are afraid of the monster under their bed, the boogie man in the closet, the black family nest door, the guy across the street because he might by gay, and that swarthy guy down the street because he might be….MEXICAN. Gun cowards think that all latinx are illegal border crossers. This is only the start of things gun cowards are afraid of. The list goes on and on and on and…well you get the idea.

There is another point here — we need those immigrant families to have a path to citizenship while they provide the workers for a lot of jobs that need doing. Our economy is already stuttering because we need more workers every year. The folks who are already here are not having enough children to provide for our future workers. Immigrants have always provided the new labor we need. (And, unless you are a descendant of a Native American family, that’s how you and I got here, too.)

Actually, in my opinion, the REAL time for “action” was 4 or 5 hundred years ago – it’s WAY TOO LATE for remedial action on _immigration, now…

I have a pellet pistol, gas powered. It looks so realistic that it would get me killed. I never take it anywhere. I don’t care for firearms. The pellet gun was given to me and it’s fun to target shoot in the garage, but as i said, if i pulled it out in public i would get popped, and i ain’t ready for that.

No sense paying attention to real life as long as you have fun diversions and shiny things.

Republiguns don’t want any gun laws, they don’t care how many people die, they get kickbacks from the arms industry.

Where’s Abbott going to bus those immigrants coming over the Canadian border? Mar a Largo?

One has protections under the Constitution, the other does not.
