You know, the first time gas prices went up to $4, soda went from $2.50 per 12 pack on sale, to $5. Now they advertise it at $5.99 on sale. I drink more soda than I eat eggs. At least I used to. I cut down quite a bit, because I refuse to pay that much. And my go to meal at McD’s went from $2.89 to over $7. Just like I said it would when fast food workers thought they deserved $15. And now you can only order via kiosk or the app. Who saw that coming? Oh, right. EVERYONE!

That’s interesting. My Walmart eggs are at $5/dozen now, but that’s less than 50 cents per egg, which is still not so much. For years, eggs were at bargain basement prices and we loved it. Now, we’re being charged probably what they’re worth. No doubt many other countries have been paying $5/dozen of eggs for years and consider that, now, to be a bargain. I guess everyone has their own kind of inflation.
