Black cops, white cops. No difference. Civilian deaths from cops are rare in the civilised world but America really is a basket case.

The video I saw showed about 8 people there while the beating took place. It was absolutely disgusting. People who will commit such an act should never get out of prison.

I think it’s time for the Sun to set over on the right side of GoComics.

$10 hour nurse’s aides in nursing homes/psychiatric hospitals are expected to handle unruly patients without resorting to violence and are subject to arrest for any assault.Police need to learn that people often do not respond in 5 second to a screamed order before the police shoot.

I recall a story from over 50 years ago in MAD Magazine with a reporter interviewing a “John Birch Society Policeman”. The cop was complaining about charges of “Police Brutality” stemming from his “Following Police Procedure by ordering a jaywalker to stop, and then firing several warning shots…into his legs!”.

Seems that things haven’t changed…

So these “black” cops immediately were suspended and charged. But, had they been white.. would justice have been just as fast?

Sick and wrong.

Cops killed more Americans in 2022 than in any other year.

Blacks cops beating a young black man? THAT’S a new twist….

We need to psychologically profile all existing and incoming police officers. All authoritarians should be ‘encouraged’ to find other jobs. Then the public will be safer from those entrusted with our security.

Weeding the bullies out the police department and putting in a psychological test for their replacements is the only way to stop this sort of thing. My brother in law was a cop in a small Texas town. He was a bully in high school to the point of exhibiting psychological issues in the stuff that he did, and he was able to turn that hobby into a profession by joining the local police department, where his activities didn’t even draw unfavorable attention. Our police should be carefully chosen, required to wear cameras, and paid enough to make quality people apply. All complaints should be reviewed by a citizen’s committee, elected by the citizens of the community. I can assure you he would have never been a cop, because he would never have applied for the job under those rules. I said he was evil, I didn’t say he was stupid.

Remember, in “A Clockwork Orange” the kid gang members became cops—which even back then wasn’t completely satirical, unfortunately.

Of course, your newly hired police officer in your town, could a disgraced cop that resigned from another police dept.
