It’s only a matter of time before they lower their sights.

Realistically, how do we lower the number of privately owned guns in America? Remember that the terrible school shootings have done little beyond “thoughts and prayers.”

Did you know that 99.9% of mass shootings don’t make the major news outlets?

Did you know that 99.94% of mass shootings are committed by someone armed with a handgun (as in Monterey Bay)?

Did you know that the first modern (since 1981) mass shooting involving a rifle was committed by someone with a Chinese AK-M knock-off?

Did you know that the deadliest mass school shooting was committed with a handgun? VT in 2007. 33 dead, 17 wounded.

Did you know that the deadliest mass killing on school grounds did NOT involve a single gunshot wound? A guy literally blew up a school in Bath, MI on 18 May 1927, 45 dead, 58 wounded.

More people need to secure their guns properly, for one. Daddy’s gun safe saved my siblings and Cat knows who else. The git who held my siblings at knifepoint got 12 years.

In the face of Hitler and Pearl Harbor, the USA rose to greatness. It changed direction. Now it is facing a new problem not anticipated in the Constitution. We lack the will to move beyond the old. We have lost our greatness.

Maybe we should ask Australia, New Zealand, Sweden, and some of the other countries that have actually done something about their gun violence (and yet, miraculously, still enjoy “freedom”).

I know no one wants to hear it but, this is just one more serious issue we have which root is in world overpopulation and disrespect for life.

we will continue to have weapons of war on our streets until the GQP turns their back on the NRA and their one issue NRA voters which makes up only 5% of voters but the republiCONs need that 5% and won’t give them up no matter how many innocent men, women and children are murdered.
