So, I thought…what’s the deal here? Never trust a smiling catfish? I wondered, do catfish smile? Turns out they do! Who knew?

Catfishing is a deceptive activity in which a person creates a fictional persona or fake identity on a social networking service, usually targeting a specific victim. The practice may be used for financial gain, to compromise a victim in some way, as a way to intentionally upset a victim, or for wish fulfillment. (Wikipedia)

My friend’s fiance catfished him in the beginning. They broke up for a while after he found out, but they are together again now and have two kids together. They have been together for over a decade now.
