NATIONAL WINNIE THE POOH DAY. I like Winnie the Pooh, but my favorites are Tigger and Eeyore.

NATIONAL MICHIGAN DAY

WORLD SNOWMAN DAY This is a day early. We might see some snow late tonight (around 9 PM) when it’s too dark out to build a snowman. But we could get 2-4 inches or even 5 inches on Thursday. That would be snowman day here. Right now, we have no snow on the ground. That’s the way I like it.

I took the dogs for their annual vaccinations a few days ago. The doxie in front of me screamed like it was being tortured when it got it’s shot, then bit it’s owner who was holding it for the spray up it’s nose. Not like our sweet Winky over on Snow Sez!

This morning i got out of bed, fed the beasts and cat, made coffee, and made a pot of coffee before deciding that i should still keep the cane nearby. Not so much for walking as for having a third leg when just standing. And getting up.I’m sore all over now. Just from keeping everything else stiff so i don’t pull on the back. You have probably been there too. I see my V.A. N.P. Friday for my followup appointment. I hope to be good enough to go back to work by then.

Each day of this arc the colors for Blue Bell, Jellybean and Lily (well maybe not her) are brighter. Love it.

Nice to see the cats all in agreement.

How’d I miss yesterday? I couldn’t figure out why this was funny. Of course, it IS!

No. Ray Charles is a cultural icon, one of the great artists of the 20th century. I’m a little surprised that a d*g would be a fan but everyone ought to.

My heat went out yesterday. It comes on for 5 minutes or so and then cuts back off. Service guy came out and took a look. They called today with a cost to repair. The unit is about 20 years old and repair was about 20% of the cost of a new unit. They put in the new HVAC on Friday.

Well, at least that dog has good taste in music. Ray Charles is one of the greatest (ifnot THE greatest) musicians of all time. I remember seeing him in the Blues Brothers. (Great movie.) On another note, saw five chickadees, a wren, and two golden crowned kinglets while out walking today.
