Well, first off Ewick, you got the proportions wrong. Biden’s about 16 pages at last count, they hadn’t been missed in years, when they were found Biden’s people notified and returned them to the national archives as per the law. Trump illegally removed about 30 boxes (?) with some 300 documents, many at the highest security levels, information still current today, stored in his office and storage rooms in a very nonsecure golf course clubhouse that was also a venue for many large attendance events where the public had almost complete unchallenged access.

Plus, the DOJ didn’t need a subpoena in order to get Joe’s envelope of documents back either.

“Those documents are MINE!!!! They belong to ME!!!!”

But, yeah, exactly the same, right Allie?

Not to mention the quantity of the documents and the levels of classification.

There are no issues that Republicans don’t weaponize and LIE about.

This is just one more on the list.

Here’s a radical idea: the DOJ should appoint a separate special counsel for each case and investigate them separately, since they are indeed separate cases. These investigators should be impartial and experienced in the law, unlike the armchair quarterbacks in this forum who get upset daily over comics.

We The People are confused by a political system designed to unite the different factions of our population into a cohesive body that debates, collaborates, and produces, through consensus or compromise, stable enduring legislation … that has morphed into a divisive system that replaces debate with demands, equates fact with fantasy, divides the populace against each other as one session of Congress attempts to nullify the legislature of previous sessions based more on whims than wisdom.

Why can’t we have responsible honest trustworthy adults representing all of We The People?Does our opposing party system truly abhor objective truth, equal justice, and unity?

Allie and the rest of their sad group are simply trying to prove to themselves that everyone else is just as bad as they are, and that somehow justifies the evil they are responsible for.

Trump is not in trouble over having these papers. Trump’s troubles stem from reusing to return papers, obstructing their recovery and lying about it all.

Trump HAVING classified documents wasn’t that big of a deal. It happens all the time. Politicians forget that they have documents, and forget to return them.

Trump refusing to return classified documents when someone noticed and asked for them back… that is what the issue is.

If Trump just said “oops, my bad” and gave them back, the media would have made deal about it, but it would blow over and be forgotten when his next gaff caught the media’s attention, and the FBI wouldn’t have been involved.

Biden is not the future of the DNC. They should pressure him to resign as they did with Al Franken. Harris may be another Harry Truman.

Remember when Biden refused to return classified documents requested by the National Archives? Remember when he refused to obey a subpoena for them? Remember, after his house was searched by the FBI, they found lots and lots more documents? Remember when Biden claimed, alternately, that they were his, that he’d returned them, and that he’d declassified them?
