I’ve said it for a long time, now: it’s all theater, blue smoke and mirrors. And nothing will happen to Trump because nothing ever happens to the rich malefactors except by accident, and then only rarely.

He would lose his traitorous power if the MEDIA. Would stop glorifying him in the press and cartoon‼️

Hes the most insignificant POS in America! He’s irrelevant and belongs in the obits‼️

With all the damage he’s done, and all the crimes he’s committed, how could they NOT indict this A-hole?

What message would that send? That he he can get away with this and a man who steals a loaf of bread to feed his family get jailed! ‼️‼️‼️

Thats the justice system in America!

It’s not a matter of “if” it’s a matter of “when” for Trump. As far as jail time goes, I have my doubts (but I still have my hopes), but exposure on his corruption where even the MAGA cult can’t ignore? It will happen. He’s doing a great job delaying the proceedings, but more and more evidence crops up where it shows his attempts to undermine the election.

Trump rambles that he has ‘total immunity’ from any kind of prosecution

Former President Donald Trump has spent the night ranting on his personal social media site about everything from a recent piece in New York Magazine to the final report of the House Select Committee investigating the Jan. 6 attack on Congress and the attempt to overthrow the 2020 election. In the latter, nested in the nonsequiturs, was the claim: “NUMBER ONE (sic), as President, I have total Immunity (sic). Number two, I did nothing wrong.”

Out of touch with reality Trump believes he can pardon himself.

Dream on, little dreamers.

Rall’s probably right about this.

This has been my point all along. This country doesn’t really want a former president to go to prison.

I suspect he’ll be indicted in Georgia and by the DoJ. Plea deals will ensue and he’ll spend no time incarcerated.

As a big fan of lost causes, Ted, I should think you would support this. And some of us don’t want to give up on this criminal.

Al Capone got away with it, until he didn’t.

He does not have nearly as many people that will protect him this time, except for a few loser QAnon stragglers and propaganda comics like this one.

Took six years to get his tax returns. Normally he either runs out the clock with endless appeals or his lawyers go to jail. Stealing classified documents will be hard to pin on his underlings though. Haven’t given up hope yet.

Until he is arrest and incarcerated pending trial I don’t believe it.

The sad thing about this cartoon is that you could change it to be about Hilary Clinton and Republicans and the punch line would still stick.

We don’t always (or often) agree Ted but on this one you are 100% right. Every time I read about how some Dem or other is “taking their time, being meticulous, to get it right” I have to shiver like someone just dragged fingernails on a blackboard. Repugs are worse but Dems are idiots and cowards.

I hate to say it, but this nails it. But, I try to be patient with my friends who have delusions like this. And I no longer try to explain reality to them. It’s exhausting and unproductive.
