Cat fountains are cool.

Cat fountains are the best thing since mountain streams. However, they can be noisy. I set mine on two silicone ice cube trays, which damp the noise. They also get harder to clean and, even with filters, can retain just enough algae to require more frequent cleaning.

Out of each pair of cats, I often have one who loves the fountain and one who will go drink from the outdoor fountain instead.

Mitty is fussy.

First World problems, little Mittens. Some cats have to slum it and drink from bowls, like pheasants.

Mittens, you have a very valuable antique fountain. Be proud of it. How many other cats in your neighborhood are so blessed.
