I suppose if Democracy isn’t your cup of tea, you’d complain about counting votes and stuff. Right, SKelley?

Republicans obstruct the rapid counting of ballots and then blame, uh, someone for delays.

    .

Another example of Republicans weaponizing and LYING about EVERY issue.

Republicans lose, their answer, keep more people from being able to vote. As long, as there are votes to count, you count.

Don’t the states run their own elections, as the “laboratories of democracy”, to the chant of “State’s Rights!” ?

Steve- are you saying you are opposed to letting the States run their own elections?

Would you please put that in print where we can quote you on it?

Good heavens, Kelley, grow up. Impatience for instant results and instant gratification is no way to live in the real world.

Why is it so hard for the MAGHAT followers to understand that every state has their own rules and procedures for counting their votes? And for casting them, for that matter. You want “State’s Rights” but you want to tell them how to do it?

Making fun of bad Americans just because their potty training was rushed and they have no patience or maturity as adults? Bold move considering that is about 40% of the population.

So, WHO insisted on hand counts and will insist on hand re-counts if they don’t win? REPUBLICANS! Hand counts are slower. Duh, Skelly.

Mr Kelley, like many a Republican, is stuck in the 19th century when nonwhite males were the only voters allowed and so votes were counted quickly.

During the 19th century, US population began in 1800 w/ a bit over 5 million and ended – in 1900 – w/ a bit more than 76 million. These days: In 2020, there were 168.31 million people registered to vote in the United States. This is a significant increase from the previous election, when 153.07 million people were registered to vote. (Thought Co.)

These people look angry. Is it because the officials wouldn’t call the game when their team was ahead? The game ain’t over ‘til the counting’s done. Be an adult. Show a little patience!

The year 2000 started with 281+ million. And these figures are the whole population, not just voters.

The number of registered voters for the Republican Party is approximately 38.8 million. The number of Democratic voters is reported to be around 49 million. The number of people who identify with and declare themselves as Independent voters is second next to Democrats. Worldpopulationreview.com

I’m sure those cyber-ninjas will straighten this right out. Now that Qublicans control the House I’m soooooooooooooo sure voting rights will be on the top of their list.

Democrats have, once again, a president that gains from supporting the peculiar institution. Perhaps, Marx was correct on one thing, “History repeats itself. The first time as tragedy, the second time as farce.”
