Perfect. American Democracy itself is at risk, and most voters are concerned about cheap cigarettes.

Yep. Most people never seem to get their views, or their shopping carts, off the first and second floors in Maslow’s pyramid.

Then again: Holding pennies in both your eyes like monocles, full time, prevents seeing ANYthing of greater value.

If you vote for the guys who want to get rid of Democracy, you won’t get it, ever.

Freedom First! everything else will fall into place.

amazing to think these GQP voters somehow believe republicans can do something about inflation.

If the Media had spent the past year explaining the cause of inflation, why it’s not lower, and why it’s not higher, instead of the election horserace, this election would be a slam dunk for Democrats.

The Saudis are voting for the republicans.

That’s pretty easy – if “Environmental and Climate Stewardship” is a for/against choice, then an “against” vote would align well with lower gas prices.

it is clear after the midterms that democracy is more important in the minds of voters than the price of gas and the one man crime wave X president is BALLOT BOX POISON!!!

You should vote Democratic across the board because it is the corporations that are making gas so expensive, and Republicans are covering the backs of those corporations. Democrats have that dreaded regulation thing going, and that tends to keep corporations in check (you know, from the price gouging they love), but Republicans continuously block those measures.

That box doesn’t exist. Nobody who’s an actual candidate is proposing price or profit controls, especially not on gas. (Not openly, at least.)

There isn’t one, you dodo. The price of gas isn’t in the President’s gift.
