The President does not set oil prices, the U. S. does not set oil prices, oil prices are mostly set by big oil producers, the Saudi’s, and the Russians, and influenced by American oil producers. When any two get together, they can pretty much ask what they want.
Biden is getting the blame for trUMp’s vindictive tariffs, etc. Also being blamed for Covid and the fallout. tRump has blame there. People have very short memories.

Oil prices should not ever be factored into elections, but people get conned into that every election cycle.
