I wish we could boot out of office those leaders that push lowering taxes for the wealthy as easily as the UK did. We can do it, but not until the prez has finished out his 4 years in office.

The UK was dumb enough to validate the Conservative Party, but smart enough to realize they were dumb enough to validate the Conservative Party. Hopefully the conservatives here in the U.S. will be smart and vote Blue next month.

It’s become obvious over the last few years that Clay Bennett has traded his soul to the devil in return for becoming the world’s best editorial cartoonist. Probably the worst bargain Old Scratch has ever made…

Are you better off than you were 4 years ago? Or 40 years ago? Or 400 years ago for some classes and races?

Hardly surprising. They should probably have chosen Rishi Sunak, and still could, but probably won’t. There’s at least as much ethnic prejudice here in the UK as back home in the US.

I am FURIOUS! She needed to leave weeks ago! To think what “Mock the Week” would have done with this news. It’s a Brit show that makes huge fun of their politicians and celebrities, and spreads the gibes and jabs to America and beyond. The last 2 episodes had great fun with Truss! They have a moderator (Dara O Briain – Irish and they tease him mercilessly), 1 regular panelist and a rotating collection of comedians. Last week it broadcast its very last episode – after 21 seasons. I’ve delighted in every single one.

Like our republicans, she wanted tax breaks for the rich.

I have to admit that Trump would make, I was going to say better looking bride than Linsey but I could be wrong.

The one day I am travelling (drove 400 km with a suspect wiper blade in heavy rain) is when all the artists I follow do a UK ’toon. Got some catching up to do but no time.
