That’s not a puddle. It’s a pool.

well, time for P&M to get a bath (more like Marigold would just magically clean herself and Phoebe would go to the tub)
You can tell by the rooftops of the small cars that are just barely visible in the pot holes.
The same way many cars get stuck too, they think it’s not as deep

I love today’s sky colors. You know people pay lots to get those don’t you? Bet it’ll do wonders for your skin (and sparkling coat).
Unexpectedly deep puddles are awesome. And hilarious!
Artax! No!
“Now that I’m muddy and dirty, we shall cut this ride short so I can get clean and be magnificent again”
You never know how deep the puddle is until you step into it.
I wonder if Marigold knows a spell for turning the mud into chocolate.
Marigold gets dirty? Oh No!
Thinking we need a little horn-based sonar here.
One more step, and you’ll both be submerged.
Oh! SO close to the sequence I was just blocking out for my next book, though bit more comedic.
I know quicksand when I see it.
Just read the first volume of “Unicorns Aren’t Horny” by Semi Ikuta, which is a “girl and her unicorn” tale for older readers. Amusing, but don’t put it on a shelf for kids.
Not quite sure why, but I laughed out loud at this one.
And the worst part was Marigold couldn’t see her reflection!!!!
Just be glad it’s not quicksand.
But it really isn’t too funny when you consider how horses can get stuck in mud holes for a long time and they can go into shock and drown.
Never test the depth of a puddle with both feet.
ARTAX!
If this had been the 80s, that puddle would have been quicksand.
