Oh yes I remember when Gameboy was like how kids are always on their phones now back in those days.

Everyone had a gameboy color and they took them everywhere.

to think that they couldn’t detect another Gameboy and you couldn’t even link them together with some kind of cable for a 2 to 4 player game.

imagine if Phoebe brought her phone, which I’m not sure if she did and then told her father about that.

Oh man that would be like Gameboy infinity.

Then he couldn’t wait to grow up just so he could use those kinds of phones.

to a kid back in those days it would be like a science fictional super device that can do everything in one.

Of course it would be extremely limited and unless you had a charger, your fun wouldn’t last.

I used to imagine making a machine that could do lots of stuff at once.

Maybe Phoebe could however play the Gameboy games as they really were and in a time when it really was magical.

the Gameboy really charmed the soul back in it’s day

This is the kind of cheating that breaks the universe and causes paradoxes like Marigold has explained before.

It’s exactly like messing with the core and system files in a computer and changing them or moving them around when you don’t know what you’re doing and then you kill the whole system because it’s coding is damaged.

Although how interesting it would be for Phoebe’s dad to see her and know it all throughout his life.

You know there was a real woman long ago who had a dream of her future daughter and everything was correct as in the dream.

And what makes it even more shocking is her dead father was playing and bouncing the little girl on his thigh.

And if that wasn’t enough, the grandmother who was still alive had the same dream.

But Phoebe’s dad knowing about his future child isn’t going to damage anything and it might even be beneficial and help him though the tough times in life.

What would cause damage would be if Phoebe said or did something that turned him away from all the choices that led to Phoebe’s existence.

Everything has to fall into place.

If she said or did something that unknowingly or not led to his death then here’s where you might disappear from thin air because you rewrote history and wrote yourself out of it.

God is supposed to be the only one who knows and does what will be done at the date and time he says it will happen and it says it’s ordained

So you’re breaking God if you can actually glitch or rewrite history and it causes destructive effects and doesn’t undo and reset itself to the default configuration.

is there some kind of coding in the universe like some really hyper advanced computer core and system files and if so, is there any way these files could be corrupted or even deleted so the rest of the universe fails to operate correctly?

Come on Phoebe it’s logical!. If your body grows up in the past then yes none of your clothes will fit because you come back not as a child.

So does Phoebe’s phone have a futuristic time travel app?.

Did Marigold like install a magic time travel app?.

No wait a minute!. We have Google maps and Earth and those have the ability to time travel.

But she probably just wrote down the coordinates on a notepad app.

Because of Marigold and a alternate world with unicorns, Star Trek is highly possible there

Well now, dolphins have to make the decision of when to breathe, it doesn’t just happen even if they were at the surface for a long time.

Their brain is programmed to hold their breath all the time and not think about it.

Phoebe brings up an interesting memory I had once.

It happened just out of nowhere I was eating a burger at a Wendy’s when I was 13 or 14 and I just forgot for no reason how to swallow.

It was like my brain just went bleep bleep and forgot a very normal function it was doing for my whole life to that point.

I read that people with late stage dementia can forget how to swallow and this makes it hard for them to take medicine or eat meals.

So I got a small taste of what it feels like to have a failing brain.

Luckily I was able to again eat solid foods after a week or so.

But can people with severe dementia forget how to breathe??.

No because that function is hard wired to never fail.

You breathe well enough to stay alive when you’re not thinking about it.

But it’s when you do think about it that you can do the deeper breathing that is good for your body and brain and calming down.

Sometimes people can’t breathe involuntarily if they have a neck injury that damages the nerves that connect with your brain.

But trust me Phoebe I’m fully aware I’m breathing right now but I still don’t have to think about doing it in order for it to happen automatically.

Dana should make a strip or even a book in which Marigold forgets everything so much that she acts like an old and demented senile unicorn and she becomes so debilitated that she doesn’t even talk as much, and thinks Phoebe is somebody else or such and does funny things in her confused state.

and it’s up to Phoebe to figure out what’s going on and how to undo the spell or whatever is happening to Marigold.

Marigold is in fact old enough that she could have effects from aging, even if she doesn’t look old or act old usually.

The bush also makes a perfect spot for recording videos and not ever being noticed.

Wow that’s right straight to it.

    What I commented on yesterday

It’s a mental screen that she can see in her own mind.

I said yesterday about if we will someday far into the future be able to access the internet from our own brains and listen to music in our heads without needing earbuds.

Although some of us can already do that.

probably the first thing will be being able to use a computer and control the pointer with our minds and not need a keyboard or mouse.

Then there will someday be games that you can just think of what you want your character to do and they’ll do it.

or maybe games that you play in your own mind, which could be dangerous and cause a Jumanji type experience.

if you die in the virtual brain game world, your brain might also die and you become a vegetable.

Although I don’t think Marigold is doing anything that extreme, though I’m sure with her magic she could teleport herself and Phoebe into a video game and that would make a really fun strip.

there are already concept wrist phones that project the virtual screen onto your palm and you touch the buttons like you would on any other phone.

But Marigold is doing this inside her brain.

I am certain that unicorns in Phoebe’s world could always text each other before phones or Internet were ever invented.

but nowadays they rely on the reception grid that normal people use.

It is easier and uses little to no magic to do it.

Let’s remember her horn can download apps and control almost everything of modern technology.

She even can cause a whole power blackout like in Watchdogs.

So Marigold can use internet in her brain and possibly she can listen to music and play games and all that without anyone noticing.

What if Dana here is critically onto something and in the future there will be brain chips or implants someday that allow us to access the internet in our minds or listen to music in our heads or such.

I for one am never getting a brain chip or any kind of implants because I don’t want to become paranoid that people are spying on me and controlling my actions.

In Marigold’s case I wonder what kind of operating system do unicorns use and how much storage space do they have and does it all get stored in the horn?.

I think the horn is only a peripheral device and that the apps and everything else is stored in the brain.

the one thing I would like to see is a strip where somehow we get to see Marigold’s brain.

Like it somehow ended up outside of her head and Phoebe had to touch it and put it back or something like that.

Not too scary or anything just cartoonish.

Or Marigold could maybe still control her body and levitate her brain and play with it and such.

Still might be too creepy or unrealistic for Dana’s taste.

Nearly all bananas I see come from Ecuador.

But wow!. tonight seems to be all about India.

I was just thinking about India and looking at pictures of this Indian restaurant while eating some packaged chickpea and rice masala oven meals.

so I wonder what unicorns do in India in Phoebe’s world?.

I wonder if unicorns would like spicy foods or can they just not forego the sweet taste for just one minute.

Perhaps unicorns from Phoebe’s world in India make foods that are both sweet and spicy at the same time.

I wonder if they wear the fancy and colorful silken clothes that people in India wear and such.

Dana should make a series of strips that show unicorns from around the world and all their unique customs and traditions.

Something like where Marigold and Phoebe travel around the world in like 80 days and it be for some kind of school project or something, because Phoebe has been known to just base everything on unicorns at school.

where they ask her to do a report on the different regions of the world and she doesn’t want to just read about it, so Marigold takes her around the world to see what all the unicorns are doing.

You could have everything from unicorns in Africa who pierce huge holes in their ears and wear lots of necklaces and noserings and such.

And unicorns in Japan who wear special unicorn kimonos and powder their faces and such.

    And everywhere in between.

And Phoebe would then have a lot to say about the world, although mostly only about the unicorns of the world.
