   Now Marigold sounds like a lot of psychotherapists.

   They want to make you feel better, but it in fact is all an ego game where they must always come out on top and feel as if they know everything and are the best.

   As long as you know less than Marigold you’re ok.

   Marigold can’t truly write a self help guide because she can’t enter the mind of someone else and truly be able to think from their viewpoint.

   she might quickly lose interest in helping troubled beings on a regular basis.

   And many would be insulted and angered by her because they would know she only thinks of herself.

   keep in mind that some people whom you know are not what they seem are actually writing self help books.

   you will be amazed at what advice they can give.

   Only to be equally hurt, disgusted and betrayed by who the author really is like and what they do in their own lives.

   Well with those glasses Marigold could be a shrink for humans and other unicorns.

   As for emulation, she is not afraid to express her beauty, but she has good qualities and she does care about Phoebe.

   She is a friend who always comes through in the end.

   If she were able to temper down her sometimes extreme obnoxious ways of showing off then you could have a character who brings the best of both worlds.

   A character who sees beauty of herself and also cares about others and doing right.

   then you have a well rounded personality.

   Marigold is probably more fearful as well as more confident of her beauty than most unicorns.

   Other unicorns seem to know their beauty and are confident but aren’t really narcissistic.

   Marigold’s sister is overall lower key and not as absorbed in herself or panicking about her perfection.

   She should help Marigold in a self-help guide.

   This whole scene must be from the saying

   “Always be yourself unless you can be a unicorn, then always be a unicorn”

   What She means is that it’s the first unicorn self-help book.

   It’s never been shown how does Phoebe get Marigold unstuck from trees.

   Maybe once she pulled on her tail??.

   I sort of assume that it probably is along the lines of Phoebe grabbing Marigold’s legs or waist and using the added weight to pull her out.

   A safer way might be to climb the tree if possible and chip away at the branch.

   If worse came to worse then the branch would have to be sawed off and Marigold removed that way.

   But in all honesty a unicorn’s neck should not be able to withstand bodyweight and the same for Marigold’s tail when she hangs from it.

   If she was the weight of a deer then I’m not sure if deer can survive if they get their antlers stuck in something overhead.

   What’s interesting however is that I’ve seen cows being carried by a helicopter with a rope tied around their horns and somehow they are strong enough to handle it.

   If Marigold was the weight of a horse, even a small horse I think she could injure her spinal cord.

   Marigold could probably also push and kick back and forth until her horn comes loose

   I read once that horses can move their eyes in two different directions at once like chameleons.

   I’ve never seen one do it.

   Marigold looks like Twilight Sparkle in the episodes Lesson Zero and a certain moment in A Canterlot Wedding when she mentions her brother’s eyes moving oddly.

   just what is Marigold ever going to do when she outlives Phoebe in age.

   although if Marigold is already older than the mountains then this could mean that she and Phoebe grow old together and they naturally die within a short time of each other.

   hopefully she wouldn’t have to suffer too long.

   Then again she might live forever.

   I once questioned if Marigold had other friends before Phoebe, but I don’t think so.

   She probably spent many eons looking into a pond alone.

   Marigold seems to have missed out on a lot of her life.

   She and her sister didn’t even know their parents.

   It would be nice if they had a few more moments together with their parents.

   Or maybe Marigold simply did this because she doesn’t want another unicorn getting a special kind of food that she wouldn’t get.

   Feeding unicorns might lead them to pestering you for more food or something.

   Feeding other kinds of animals makes them desensitized to people and the theory is that with desensitization comes aggression and people may get killed by an animal who just wants the food.

   Has anyone here fed a wolf?.

   although probably it will end up being Dakota like it has sometimes before.

   It can’t be another unicorn either because then there is the problem of who is more unique and beautiful.

   we have yet to see Marigold really lose her gourd from being alone.

   I’m thinking of her running around in circles crying and panicked and neighing and screaming to the sky that she is lost without Phoebe.

   Unicorns seem solitary enough of the time but maybe they are in fact herd-type animals like horses and they actually don’t manage too well alone.

   And yet I think in this world of Dana’s, it’s possibly that unicorns do better with humans than with others of their own kind.

   Although Marigold probably spent over a hundred years all alone staring at her reflection before in her life.

    That first panel I almost got the feeling that Marigold was going to do something stupid with traffic like playing chicken with it.

    She might become so unbalanced without Phoebe that who knows what she would do.
