If the voters reject Democrats because they were “in charge” while inflation hurt them, then, yes, it could be the end stage of democracy in the USA. Though honestly, I think that if that happens we should mark the beginning of the end somewhere earlier than the 2016 campaign that resulted in an entirely unfit person occupying the White House. Possibly the true beginning was Gingrich’s decision to treat Democrats as the enemy.

If you think inflation is Biden’s fault, then yes, you are taking us off a cliff.

For the majority of Germans in the 1930s and 1940s, their world was “good” until allied bombs started falling within their country’s boundaries. They weren’t paying attention to the world around them, either

Inflation (or more correctly, price gouging by insufficiently-regulated corporate bullies) is a serious problem that affects everyday Americans.

    • Under Joe Biden and a nominally Democratic congress, inflation in the United States has been kept far below that of inflation in most other countries around the world. Republicans, who would rather their corporate masters reap even greater record profits, think this is a bad thing.

Desperate Republicans, who cannot run on their pro-crime record of making sure that American mass murderers and robbers are the best-armed in the world, or their ANTI-FREEDOM record of supporting BIG INTRUSTIVE GOVERNMENT to make the most private, personal decisions of micro-managing our private lives, whine and cry and MAKE A LOT OF NOISE about inflation, but have not offered one single realistic solution to actually do anything about it, and support the same elitist policies that have caused other countries to be enduring far worse inflation than in the United States.

The real question is, with their abysmal record of supporting BIG INTRUSIVE GOVERNMENT, policies of economic failure and candidates who oppose true democratic reforms, how are Republicans even keeping the elections close?

How is a mentally-challenged brain-damaged football player in Georgia who can’t tell the difference between a souvenir honorary badge and being a real peace officer even keeping it close with an erudite, educated ordained minister and heir to the pulpit of Martin Luther King, Jr?

Oh yeah, gerrymandering, a racist Electoral College, a senate that by intentional design favors the smallest, whitest, most rural states, and the fact that they are supported by the bazillionaire elitist billionaire donors who want to preserve their plutocratic advantage and who own their own faux “news” media.

Global inflation is the distraction that is allowing the RWers to tell people to sell their democracy off for the promise of cheaper gas and food. Notice that they actually don’t have any plans or ideas to address inflation, only blame and anger.

Republicans have zero plans to fight inflation, they vote down every bill that reduces prices.

If it weren’t “inflation” it would be some other aspect of our imperfect lives that Republicans would use to exploit the frustrations of their ignorant supporters. They’re really good at that.

Wow, I sincerely hope Democratic voters will not be deterred based on the Republican snake oil they are pushing, daily. Everybody crying about “inflation”, geeze, I remember the mid 70’s, now that’s inflation. And the 80’s, people think it’s bad now, it’s nothing compared to the 70’S and 80’s. And I remember when Nixon put a cap on gasoline prices in the 70’s, now that was something, a Republican freezing gas prices! We bought a home in the 70’s, and another in the 80’s, just grin and bear it. And guess what? When things settled down, we refinanced, a total of 3 times, bingo, problem solved, you just have to wait it out. Anyway, bottom line, this is tame stuff compared to the 70’s and 80’s, so quit griping and VOTE THE REPUBLICANS OUT OF OFFICE!!!

The real “joke” is that today’s Publicans are like Samson in the Temple, would happily bring the US (and world) economy down in a heap just to “show” Pres. Biden. It would be easy enough to do, by dicking around with the Debt Limit statute. Of course they might instead try to use the threat of that to exact concessions (like getting rid of Social Security and Medicare) that they could never achieve otherwise. And THEN bring the world’s economy down.

Not to worry, inflation is just transitory. Crime is just a Fox News lie, Boy is this Ice Cream good! Never believe your lying eyes. Your world is about to crash and all you got was student loan forgiveness and a BLM T-Shirt. Americans are fed up up with Brandon & his minions.

Trump and Republicans love inflation and high gas prices. Gives them an issue to elect fascists. The US in 1930s Germany.
