Whew! Thank goodness it missed them.

He should have called it a meteor—then it wouldn’t have landed.

Looks like spacecraft debris. If I’m right that is insured (too lazy to google).

But a totaled car gives you the opportunity to think about whether you still need one. I live in an urban area where I can reach everyday destinations by foot or by bike or use public transport. For the few trips where a car is the best solution I use my carsharing membership. Saves a ton in money and troubles and I have a workshop instead of a garage.

Don’t forget to get heated seats and electric windows in the new car so Koko can have a warm butt and can hang his head outside whenever he wants to. Yip yip yip yip yip

Back in the 90s, a meteorite hit a high school girl’s car in NY state and landed in her trunk. She got quite a lot of notoriety for that — for about 15 minutes.

Too bad it wasn’t just “blue ice”.

If you have both the meteorite and the car on which it landed, you’ve got a gold mine. Worth bux.

Happened to me while visiting my daughter. We heard a car crash and I said, “Some poor SOB got his car hit” Looked out the window and it was my car. A family memory that’s always good for a laugh.
