I don’t know if this was ever used in the show, but an old “Jetsons” comic book (early 70’s) showed George’s job at Spacely Sprockets to be simply sitting in a chair and pushing a single button repeatedly.
Our past ideas about the future were so charmingly naive. In reality, all of those jobs have been outsourced to India.
