The warrant: We have strong enough evidence to believe he is a crook

The list of items taken: We have strong circumstantial evidence that he is a crook.

What we won’t see until the trial (if then): The strong actual evidence that he’s a crook. In fact, I suspect it will prove to be worse than merely “crooked”. According to what I’m hearing, he was trying to sell our nation’s tippy-top-most secrets.

I was granted access to Top Secret/SCI, sensitive compartment information, for the 25 years I worked for the DOD, never brought any home for some reason. My Wife kept wanting me to bring home some nuclear secrets just to show her friends and then I could take them back but….nope. No it just is not like Hillary and her e-mails. David Brooks on PBS Newshour on Friday said 75% of the Repubnantcans are rallying behind whiney baby Donnie in his hour of need and that it is actually giving him a big boost in his run for 2024 when he could finish the job of burning the rest of it down.

There is a Crooked Man (updated, 2022)

    .

There was a crooked man who was crooked from his youth

His upbringing was crooked and he could not distinguish truth

He nurtured crooked businesses, was a lousy spouse

And by a crooked twist of Fate, he went to the White House.

    .

His crooked term in office took crooked turns, and twisted

Crooked was advice from those he was by whom assisted

The lies piled in crooked stacks, tens of thousands all in all

Smug sat he there, legs crossed crookedly, eventually to fall.

    .

But crooked Fate in gambling somehow got crooked cards

And crooked outcomes were attained in fixed arranged canards

Alas for him Fate long crooked seems soon to straighten out

As by election crooks (he claims) his lies are put to rout.

    .

Or will through crooked wiles he once more Justice foil-it

And flush evidence of his crookedness down the swirling toilet?

America, America, how crooked you’ve become.

Through rule by crooked liars, thieves, and varied cheating scum!

He was in possession of nuclear documents. Merely possessing them is a crime. He’s a traitor. There is no good or viable reason for him to have had any of that. He is a traitor.

What MORE EVIDENCE is needed for the GOP to admit he’s a traitor to America? Anyone supporting him is as ignorant as a box of rocks and any politician who STILL supports him is committing political suicide!

The violent vengeful diehard maga-ts will be there for him! They believe every lie he spews! His acid tongue, thoughts, words, and deeds are exposed for the world to see!

Pretty open and shut case. The National Archives made several attempts to recover all documents that Trump removed to Mar-A-Lago. 15 boxes were returned but, in interviews with Trump attornies in June, they revealed that there were still numerous boxes at Mar-A-Lago and they contained sensitive documents. There was no “sensitive documents” retention area at Mar-A-Lago, documents would have been available to anyone. So there is the initial illegal taking and retention of the documents coupled with willful retention, refusing to turn them over. The DOJ thought there was a reasonable chance that the retained documents would be destroyed based on prior Trump handling of documents and sought a search warrant rather than a subpoena to immediately seize the documents.

If he is indicted, tried and convicted; if found guilty by several different federal and state courts; how many of his core will FINALLY REALIZE the TRUTH? That the person they have been backing because he was so good at owning the libs, so good at riling them up over their grievances, so good at saying things they were not yet (but are now) comfortable saying, is NOT A GOOD person? That he lies, he cheats, he divorces, he steals, he bankrupts, and he (potentially) has sold our nations secrets to one or more foreign nations?

What will it take to lift the veil from the eyes of the deceived?

I happened to be watching PBS and saw David Brooks make an argument, if you can call it that, against charging Trump—as I recall he said that all this is just making Trump’s supporters more engaged, that the country is in danger of falling apart, charging Trump would just push things further, that prosecutors should take the political situation into account, after all people are responsible for the consequences of what they do, and that would include the prosecutors. I was shocked, but not surprised. Brooks is one of the people who enabled Trump to get to this point. Way back when Trump was first elected, Brooks said, “Oh, let’s give him a chance, maybe he will grow into the job.” Fat chance. Brooks never spoke out forcefully against Trump. Some other conservatives have done so. Max Boot is an example. Liz Cheney (who is not a good person) also. Brooks is also responsible for the consequences of what he has done and failed to do. Responsible conservatives need to do everything in their power to make sure that Trump can never again hold office and to prove that the principle that no one is above the law is more than just a pious slogan.

Tell us something the majority of us didn’t already know.

Have to love how Republicans attack law enforcement when they are legitimately doing their job and hold ‘all’ that commit crimes against America accountable. Calling them rogue agents. Oh, right, many of the GOP politicians have committed crimes against the USA.

Get out the popcorn it’s gonna get entertaining. The amount of projection and deflection, etc. is incredibly entertaining.

For those who want to go But Hilary I suggest you read thishttps://www.statesman.com/story/news/politics/politifact/2022/08/12/politifact-comparing-hillary-clintons-emails-donald-trumps-files/65400078007/Not justifying her Sloppiness. With 113 emails containing classified and three of those having classified markers, I doubt it was intentional. Still not acceptable, especially as she was a creator of classified material. As President, I would have fired her. I also would have found out why her GS advisor could not keep riens on her as that is their job. But there was not nearly the potential damage as with the volume of material Trump had on his property. They need to check if any of his other homes has been in since he took office. There no good reasons for him to have that material. This was not a mistake this was intentional. Who did he show it too is my question
