Sir. be careful about timing Michelle’s bathroom breaks. She has IBS and could sue for discrimination against her due to a medical issue. If you want to fire her, send her an ambiguously worded email that is easily misinterpreted so that she can be fired for incompetence. Signed your Legal team.

P.S. delete this email and never reference it again.

Why do I believe this? Probably because it’s happening.

My son worked from home for two years and was extremely careful about interactions when he left his home. In those two years, he never got sick. Then his company required them to go back into the office at least one day a week. After his first day back, he got sick and tested positive for COVID. It was a very painful bout that not only made him miss his brother’s wedding but had him barely able to eat for two weeks.

There is on reason, and one reason only, why the billionaires want everyone back to the office. they don’t make their money, you do.

Actually, I think the gazillionaire would be asking “why are we wasting millions on an office building when the workers can work from home?”

A side benefit for the gazillionaire is that now the workers can be called any time day or night and be told to log in and do some work. “Going on vacation? Be sure to take your laptop with you in case I want you to do some work. Camping out in the north woods? Take a satellite phone with you in case I decide you’re needed.”
