I have a couple of good friends on Facebook. I use it to stay in touch with old hometown friends (I’m five hours away now) and work friends/acquaintances. I would help most, if needed, but 90% of them don’t live near me.
I grew-up in a time that everyone, women included, carried Jumper Cables in their car. Strangers, women included, would willingly jump your car, with a smile.

It was time for Todd to learn “These people are not (really) your friends.”

A friend in need, is a friend in…
…name only.

If they won’t help you move or loan you money in a pinch they’re not a friend they are an acquaintance.

Social media distorts everything; even the traditional definition of ‘friend’.

I don’t know why it’s called ‘friending’ when you’re not.

Ain’t it the truth. I just laugh when someone tells me about their Facebook “friend”.
