I had a boss who thought “Cookie Day” once a year was a magnificent idea.

With one supervisor we had bagels at our staff meetings.

If some of you want to work less paid hours, you can change some of your paid hours to volunteer hours and work for free.

And free beer tomorrow.

Shortly after Elon Musk made his “Work 40+ hours in the office or leave” statements about 200 Tesla white collar workers did. Google, Apple and other Silly Valley companies ran adverts on Indeed and Glassdoor basically saying that they still had WFH. People are still leaving Tesla as I write this.

What? No bagels and lox?

Given the price of fruit.. you guys got a real deal. Bought some peaches the other day (Edmonton Alberta) that turned into $2.26 EACH. Grown in BC, 6 hours from here. Watermelon at Safeway $11 something.

Don’t forget about enrolling them in the Jelly of the Month club instead of Christmas Bonuses.

The one time Clark put up a suggestion box they got similar results. They quit that idea before I left so who knows if they ever got their thumbs out of their ears. I doubt it.

As your boss, the correct answer is “unpaid overtime”. Anything else is fed to the shredder.
