Yes, we did, and somehow recovered.

I can’t believe we survived! And now the world throws it’s best shot and turned into clow world!

Lawn darts were great and much easier than throwing 3lb chunks of iron (horseshoes) at each other. And don’t forget riding in the back of pickups on the highway.

So what the heck is bubble tea anyway?

I’m still biking without a helmet. Alas, I had to stop climbing tall trees. I am not as limber as I used to.

Those were the days

I’ve got some really great scars! Until my son fell into a wood pile with nails throughout it, I was worried that he was never going have a cool story to tell.

The instructions with lawn darts said to stay away from the target, behind the thrower. I don’t remember exactly, but that was the gist.

I loved the real lawn darts!

Patty is too young to remember lawn darts. They only lasted about 6 months in the late 70’s. I remember they were going to be banned, so everybody hurried out and bought some before they were…

Lawn darts did teach us to pay close attention to the game.

Ben must have found one in his foot after forgetting to move himself to a safe location.

I think my brother still has the Jarts we had when we were kids. They don’t play withthem anymore though.

Swimming in a lake at night, in Florida, is the one thing we used to do that still scares me.
