Happens all the time. Years ago our home phone number was the inverse of the local pizza joint, so we would get a lot of phone calls late on Friday and Saturdays.
When “800” numbers first came out, at work my dad started getting all kinds of calls about insurance. He eventually figured out that local folks were neglecting to dial the 800, in order to reach a national insurance company’s customer service. Even after being told that they had misdialed, some people would get irate that he could not answer their questions.
Many years ago, my local baseball team had an ad about the bullpen coach getting a call trying to sell him insurance. The representative kept asking, “Now what can I do to sell you a policy, Mr. Pen?” At the end, cut to the manager trying to call for a relief pitcher and getting a busy signal…
I worked with a guy whose grandfather was getting a lot of pizza calls. He was annoyed at first. Then he started having fun. He just politely took their orders, ad said when to aspect it.

Like at work a few years back, there was a guy named Wilfred. The office began getting calls for a “Mr. Fred”.

“Yankees’,” or simply “Yankees is correct. But “Yankee’s” is not.

Yankess? Nah. Maybe the pizza joint is not different from the Orioles’ bullpen.

Yankees’ bullpen. I mean, I hope the team has more than just one player. For their sake.

I’ll bet it’s a prank from the dugout or the front office.
