apparently, Sera still needs some training

The Dog Sera, not you.

Sera is drawn so adorably I wanna pet her.

This sequence is great, cos it’s not in any of the book collections! So it’s all new to me!

Kids and dogs react the same.

Maybe he should think about starting a toddler-obedience school? He doesn’t seem to be doing to well with dogs.

Puppy’s have worse attention spans than toddlers. Lawrence’s mistake was not getting in front of the dog, get her attention, then use both voice and hand commands. We discovered how important both types of command can be as our dog (a floppy eared breed) got older he gradually got deafer. As he lost hearing, he would still respond to hand signals so he could continue his career as a therapy dog even then.

My niece did this once when staying with us. We told our pup to sit, and she also sat down immediately :P

It’s good to see that April is remembering her training at least.

That’s nothing. I could go to the bathroom all by myself when I was just a week old.

Sera has that typical cute puppy vacant look. She’s oblivious to anything except that her “people” are with her.

Works with April.

My Black Lab won’t sit on command unless I have a treat in my hand. Our other dog is smarter. She will sit.

Well, that command didn’t work as intended.
