Is Biden saying that, or is the Fed saying that, with their stupid interest rate hikes?

Did Biden say something to indicate he thought recessions weren’t possible any longer? I am not sure what is being mocked here.

Republicans are sure gonna be sad if gas prices continue to decrease, inflation eases, and the stock market bounces back. They thrive on chaos, confusion, disaster, and hatred.

I’m not convinced that economists know what they’re doing.

We’ve been overdue for a recession since 2018….and whomever is president when one hits always gets the blame.

Joe’s mistaken. He thinks he’s looking at the Republican Party.

Recessions happen every six years or so. We have Obama to thank for the longest period of growth since the end of WW2, so people forget.

Before the Republicans “moved south” – welcoming en masse the Dixiecrats, segregationist Democrats, supremacists, theocrats, et al – they were a socially-progressive/fiscally-conservative party. My Eisenhower Republican family taught me – based on the small businesses they owned/ran – to save when times were good to be able to survive the recessions that are an integral part of capitalism. I bought my first car [a known dependable used car] for cash from my “car expense” credit union account and kept up the payments after I bought the car. Also had a half years salary in the credit union in another account. I miss the old fiscally conservative Republican party that knew the difference between assets and liabilities and how to make the middle class prosperous, not just the wealthy.

Actually, it’s the Biden administration that is extinct!

Recession always follows a Republican administration. Why is that?
