For many years I said I would love to go on a cruise, but husband who had been military said “I’ve been on a ship and it’s not that much fun”. So when our 25th was coming up, I told him I was going on a cruise for it, are you coming with me. He did and loved it (and another few). Turns out it’s not the same as a Navy ship.
When my wife lived, we went out almost every weekend for a date, one weekend a quarter for an overnight and one week/year, until we could afford more (when the kids moved out).
