We always coated pills in Velveeta. Impossible to lick it off the pill once it adhered…
Our last dog would detect any pill inside anything, and spit it back out clean as a whistle. Well, food-free anyway. She wasn’t offended that you tried to put pills in her food, she just assumed that food came that way and needed to be filtered.
