My retirement accounts INCREASED this month. There was a dip last month, but that does happen with investments – this is why proposals to move Social Security into the stock market are stupid.

Inflation is being used by many to increase their prices far more than their costs increased. Oil companies are the worst price gougers – pump prices went up immediately and even when the oil prices go down, the gas prices stay the same or continue to rise.

If the comments here are any indication, I’d say US democracy is in real danger. There is so much polarization, and I don’t see any way to bridge the gap. I don’t speak as a neutral observer—I’m convinced that Trump was trying to stop the fundamental process of democracy, and he should be in jail. But I don’t see that the hearings are going to change anyone’s mind. The US is stuck in a very bad place.

I guess that a few people who enjoy watching Manure being bagged will watch this S Show. On the other hand, if they would have Real hearings on why pelosi declined extra White House Security, knowing the Rigged Election, sentiment & interview all the fbi, cia, etc, instigators leading the crowd. Then they could get the audience they expect.
