@Ling Today’s strip IS funny our HERO Mr Andrew Capp making the loan collector faint is priceless :o) my avatar is a photo of a Zeiss Ikon camera like the one my Dad had , he took hundreds of photos with it and so did I, Come passerai la vostra Domenicha mio meno vecchio amicho, our Sunday should be a little busy but we should cope I hope , we both are in a good mood , no early morning drive shopping to do or errands to run , just keep inside the house and keep hydrated till 9.30 when we will watch our Archbishop celebrate the Holy Mass on television, keep safe happy father’s day and a bientot pal.

The episode is daft. Durham street is not on the waterfront. Our Mr. Jones, if that is his name, clearly is feigning an injury to collect money from the government. Oh my gawd! This lay about stuff is spreading!

Having low expectations can be startling when they are met.

Usually, he’d lie to the debt collector and spend his (rare) betting winnings getting stinking drunk!!

The only reason I can think of for this change is that he’s been banned from every pub in Hartlepool.

Thanks to Mr. Capp I just fell out of my chair and hurt my coccyx.

Andy was drummed out of the Society of Welchers and Chiselers shortly after this happened.

I am sure Jack would like a share of that money too but would probably faint if Andy paid his tab or bought a round.
