We made the rules when NATO was established. We wanted veto power, and we got it. Turkey is using the rules we made against us. Karma?

Erdogan – just living up to his country’s name.

Erdogan is a dictator, I know why we keep Turkey in NATO, it is Geographic, which gives us a small say over the Russian Fleet going in and out of the Black Sea. Still, I wonder if it is worth it, Turkey is closer to Iran these days than the west. We need to put our foot down or kick Turkey out.

NATO need some updated policies and rules…

Erdogan was the other president Putin invested in. Like Trump, this investment may pay dividends.

North Atlantic Treaty Organization and Turkey can keep two Nations in the North Atlantic area out? Finland already knows how to fight Russia and they sure share a border with them. Sweden & Finland should already be in NATO. Now that they fully understand what danger lies in being close to the Bear can get you without a Big Brother to look out for you.

Can the other members of NATO vote to expel Erdogan? Sweden and Finland are Much more in sync with the ideals and aims of democracy than Erdogan will Ever be.

Toss out Turkey and bring in Finland and Sweden.

Erdogan wants something in return for his approval. It remains to be seen exactly what that is, but it will be made plain over the next few weeks. Probably trade concessions or something to do with the Kurds.
