Serious comment of the day: we were looking for new furniture last year and almost everything we looked at in the furniture stores had the distressed look. Why would you pay good money for NEW furniture that has dents, nicks, worm holes, and faded spots? Makes about as much sense as paying good money for ripped jeans!
