    And dangerous to dogs and babies, which is why all of our dangly things from blinds etc. are looped and knotted high above paw/head level.

    Which brings to mind about cats and ANYTHING that dangles such as drapery cords, stringy decorations on furniture. I had a cat go for those and nearly hang herself because she wanted to play with it.

    That is why you tie those dangly, stringy bits up – so they don’t wrap around the necks of pups or cats who find the root of all evil.

    I’ve heard stories about people putting rags on their vehicle wheels if there are dogs who keep chasing them; not sure if it’s true and I hope no animals were injured!
