Don’t take a holiday excursion to the dryer Garfield. That is how my friend Josh’s cat died. All that was left was boned and fur. I am not even making that up, it happened. He is traumatized. This also reminds me of the episode of the office where Dwight kills Angela’s cat by putting it in the freezer.
Garfield did do something similar back in 1978, where he used Jon’s fan, Jon’s sunglasses, Jon’s hat, and Jon’s old kiddy pool that he filled with ice cubes, in order to beat the heat.
I’m actually surprised no one brought up how dangerous this could potentially be if a very warm child reads it and decides to go cool off in the fridge. I would recommend simply removing this particular cartoon.
Uh, Garfield. You waste electricity when you make this move, especially when it is hot outside. Please conserve energy to avoid rolling blackouts. Thank you. #truefact :)

Back when I was working for a local food store, when it was real hot outside, I would seek refuge in the beer cooler for a short while.

Careful that Jon doesn’t close the fridge, Gar: you could become a frozen one …

I’m surprised that there’s a refrigerator big enough to hold Garfield and strong enough to hold his weight!

I enjoy the walk in beer cooler at WaWa. I will go in there and “chill” for about 1 0 minutes on a hot humid Florida day.

I may resort to that the next three days, no A/C, in the 90s…

It’s like sitting in front of the AC vent, but this has additional snacks. It’s perfect!

Maybe not paradise, but close. Now if they could only fit a wide screen tv with an ultra sound system then we would be getting close….
