Seriously, WHEN did the basis for removing someone from office by either impeachment/expulsion, or, at the minimum, voting them out of office as soon as possible suddenly vanish???

I remember when a single picture could annihilate someone’s political ambitions, as in Gary Hart, but NOWADAYS politicians LIE UNDER OATH, SUPPORT TREASON, DENY THEY EVER SAID THINGS THAT ARE CLEARLY RECORDED ON AUDIO AND VIDEO, AND BREAK THE LAW, and people STILL SUPPORT THEM!! And it’s suspicious that about 95% of them are Republicans.

It seems to have started with King Richard the Nix, but it REALLY got bad starting about 6 months before the 2016 Election.

His on again off again relationship with the orange one is typical of other Republicans as well.

Republicoups should look in the mirror and say, Boy, y’all want power. God, I hope you never get it!

Throughout history, multiparty [2 or more] have worked as checks to moderate each other and cooperate/collaborate/compromise to deliver sensible legislature, but when the moderates are spurned and hyperpartisanship sets in … all that remain are dysfunctional at governing.

I’m sure that as soon as the Republicans are back in power they’ll “readjust” the records to reflect their version of “the truth”.

McCarthy is toast. Unfortunately, tRump will probably not face any consequences for the whole fiasco.

This is outrageous and that is really the illness that pervades the Republican leadership right now. They say one thing to the American public and something else in private. They understand that it is wrong, what happened, an attempt to overthrow our government. And that the Republicans instead want to continue to try to figure out how to make 2020 election different instead of spending their energy on how it is that we go forward in order to build an economy, in order to make this country work better for the people who sent us to Washington.

We need more people like Elizabeth Warren on the airwaves and the Inter-tubes, to get the Democratic message out and to go on the offensive against this lying corrupt fascist republican party.

Let’s stop calling republican leaders gutless, spineless, cowards or stupid. Let’s use the labels — traitors, corrupt, crooks, seditionists, fascist, authoritarian, pro-Putin, anti-American, …. We need to tell the harsh truth, and educate voters about what’s at stake in the November elections.

Let’s build momentum against the republican party as a whole, not just local candidates or individual leaders. Let’s talk about the culture of corruption. Let’s nationalize the elections.
