    I understand quite a few Russian officers – generals, colonels, etc. – have been killed in Ukraine. I wonder how many were killed by the Ukrainians.

    FWIW, America lost one in Afghanistan, and one in Viet Nam.

    I hope Jeff is not suggesting that well paid generals don’t commit war crimes. I think that we’ll find that some of the best paid generals are war crimes architects.

    Putin was a war criminal LONG before his current spree of war crimes in Ukraine. He helped his fellow dictator, Assad, massacre more than a half a million Syrian civilians. Were there justice in the world, Putin would’ve been tried, and convicted, and executed for his war crimes a couple decades ago.
