Disney has long been involved in politics. They dropped the ball on this one.

Better to go through life awake with your eyes open, then unawake with your eyes shut to reality.

Disney has survived many $hithead politicians. DeSantis is just another turd in the way.

So you chose activism or family? That’s not the way I’ve experienced life.

The 1st political book I read was about the Reagan administration, it was “Sleepwalking through History”. Republicans still haven’t woken up but we’re all stuck in the nightmare they’ve created.

Disney doesn’t so much care about the politics as they do about pissing off people who then may decide not to visit Disney. It would be nice to imagine it being different, but we Americans do think with our wallets.

The unwoke gay hating republicans won’t let it go.

Desantis says “Don’t say gay.” Woke Disney employees strike because of sexist creep Desantis.

Yeah when they choose sides, they lose part of their customer base, no matter which side they choose. They decided to pursue $$ rather than a child’s fantasies and delight decades ago, so maybe they should stick to the mission and tell employees and customers alike “Pursue the social justice of your dreams outside of the workplace / park / corporation.”

I recommend that all people who think that Republicans are saving families read the statement put out by Utah’s Republican governor telling the reasons that he vetoed Utah’s hate-the-gays bill. First off, he sympathizes with the kids, their mental health issues, the bullying, and resulting beatings and suicides that result. That’s hard to find in a Republican politician these days: thinking about the prosecuted, rather than having fantasies about how best to hurt them.

But then he goes into numbers: Utah has five transgender athletes, and four of them are transgender males. Only one of them has won a contest. He notes that people are going to a lot of trouble to make life difficult for such a small subset of their constituents.

Yes, reason exists, even in Utah, even in Republican Utah. So sad it’s in such short supply.

Tough. Like Disney doesn’t make political contributions? Sorry, but they just stepped on their own….

Is there someone who reads editorial cartoons that believes that a CEO, any CEO, is not a politician?

The flag should say “Ex-CEO”, which is what they’ll be after the buying public votes.

The policy in question was…Should teachers be discussing sex with kindergartners through 3rd grade. Only mentally disturbed rainbow mafia types would say yes to that.
